Wossner Pistons joins FER

n Wossner pistons has grown from producing just a few one-off pistons per year, to over a quarter of a million pistons so far in 2025. These components have been used in everything from powerboats, microlites, jetskis, snowmobiles and more. What started as an idea to take on American-based rivals back in the Nineties and to prioritise European racing and rebuilding, has grown into a multi-national company with offices on four continents.
In 2018, Wossner took the plunge and opened a new facility in the UK to provide better service to the unique and diverse British engine rebuilding industry.
David Wheeler, Managing Director of Wossner UK, commented,‘ It’ s a pleasure
to work on all of the rare and sometimes unusual projects that are going on in the UK, from drag racing Vespas to concourse Sixties Jaguars and everything in between. We have decided to support the FER and hope to work within the industry to show off the UK’ s unique talents to the rest of the world, when it comes to building strong and reliable engines.’
