What is something that you are most proud of?
I never really thought of myself going to a 4 year university, pero me puse las pillas and
now I can say that I’ve graduated from a 4 year university.
What will you miss the most about college?
It’s a bittersweet feeling that I have finalized my undergrad experience. I enjoyed just
being a student and walking around campus. I know that when I go back the feeling will
not be the same as I won’t be rushing to get to class or to an event.
Esmeralda's Words of Wisdom
Due to COVID-19, my last semester of college was virtual
and I just want to tell you all to cherish and be grateful for
the moments you spend on campus, with friends and sisters
because you never know when you will see them again after
your college years are over. My commencement was
canceled and that was very disappointing and upsetting, so
when you get to commencement and you’re walking across
the stage be grateful and really enjoy that moment because
many of us did not get to experience that.
