What is something that you are most proud of?
Chartering is one of the things I am most proud of because we brought KDChi onto
our campus and I feel like we helped create so much change in our short time there
as well as helped other young women find a group to call home. Being first generation
can be very difficult and many of our sisters are going through similar struggles,
having a support system is crucial in college and I am glad I was a part of history.
Future Plans & Goals
Currently I got a job with Kansas State Advising Crops where I will be helping high
school juniors and seniors find the right colleges for them and scholarship
opportunities. My hope is to get my masters degree in either
education/administration or nonprofit. I want to create my own arts academy in my
hometown and help provide a safe space and education for teens specifically those
who are from underrepresented communities. My goal is to create a local record label
and help local artist take off!
