Alma Olguin Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies What is something that you are most proud of? The one thing I am most proud of is the growth within myself. Coming to UNT was a huge step out of my comfort zone. Being away from my family and not having a clue what college was going to be like as a first generation student. I learned from my mistakes and gained a lot of experience on a taste of what life would be on my own and what life has to offer for me as a professional in a field I might be interested. I am proud of all the hard work my parents did for me to have a better education & to be an Educated Latina. Future Plans & Goals My future career plans and goals are to continue growing experience in my field with non profits and family’s and communities. While also making connections with people. I want to one day be able to be a Director at an organization that focuses on families in need. Alma's Words of Wisdom Always be grateful of what you have, don’t sell yourself sort. ALWAYS remember that there is always a rainbow after a thunderstorm.
