I chose KDChi because I wanted to be surrounded by strong independent women
who will not only empower me to do better but to also empower the community
around me.
Future Plans & Goals
I plan to strengthen my academia by applying to a specialized masters program in
medical sciences and eventually applying to Medical school.
Stephanie's Personal Narrative
The pressure on first generation children to prove that you are indeed proof of
your parents sacrifice is something that many will not understand. You will fail
trying to adjust to something that statistically was “not in your nature” but being
strong enough to continue. Throughout the hardships I’ve endured academically
and mentally, I’m proud that I never gave up.
