effort. My hope that as Kappa Delta Chi ages, we, as an organization grow in wisdom and maturity. With a purposeful vision, we can become a united group of women who see beyond race, ethnicity, culture, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.

Almost three years later I can state with absolute sincerity, I made the right decision when joining Kappa Delta Chi. I worked with the best of servant leaders, mentors, and scholars. I met my best friends, my future bridesmaids, and my family away from home. I learned about and embraced sisters from all cultures, races, fields of study, and career interests. Kappa Delta Chi forged in me a true leader, and taught me the value of belonging to a community and having compassion for others. Just as my chapter sisters opened their hearts to me, someone different, I encourage others to do the same. You never know whose life you can impact, and how valuable their perspective can be to your organization.
