KDChi Chi chapter shares the love on "World Smile Day"

San Antonio, TX - Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. - Chi Chapter, along with the Upsilon Lambda chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi held an event on October 3rd for World Smile Day at University of Texas at San Antonio.

During the day, the ladies set up a table around the busiest part of campus. From there they had people write on popsicle sticks the things that make them smile, place those into a jar while taking one out that was not theirs. Those who stopped by were encouraged to take a picture and share on their social media with the hashtag #WhyISmileUTSA.

“World Smile day was a day to give back in the smallest way possible,” said Special Projects Chair Veronica Bardales. “Giving this little gift to so many people in one

single day was awesome! What the world would be if we all just gave a smile to a random person every day.”
