Position(s) held: District 13 Chair Initiation: Our Lady of the Lake University, Beta Gamma, Gamma class, Fall 2013 Day Job: Coordinator of Student Leadership & Development at Our Lady of the Lake University Hope to accomplish: I look forward to accomplishing a smoother transition of chapter officers as well as increasing the sizes of chapter membership. I also KDChi means family to me. When I first learned about Greek Life and KDChi I wanted sisters because I am an only child. I knew the organization would provide that extended family that I was looking for. Since being a member, KDChi truly has been a blessing in my life and the best decision I have made. KDChi is more than just a sorority it is a family. look forward to our Sisterhood growing in unity. I value friendships, so it felt nice to bond on a deeper level with sisters outside of my home chapter. D I S T R I C T 1 4 C H A I R Xena Matamoros Position(s) held: District Chair Initiation: Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Alpha Delta, Fall 2009 Mu Class Day Job: International Student Advisor Hope to accomplish: I am looking forward to working closely with the undergraduate chapters in my District so that they can build connections with each other outside of Regional Conference. I am also excited to work with Regional Leadership on a very successful Regional Conference for our undergraduates, alumnae and advisors to provide them with quality content KDChi means empowering each other. It’s such an amazing and beautiful thing to see so many young people getting educated and involved in their community and I am honored to be a part of the Collegiate Affairs side to witness it happen first hand. KDChi also means family, I have had such a positive experience being a sister that I want to ensure that everyone’s experience is enjoyable because we are all in this together. they can use professionally, within KDChi and in life.
