Eslandy Galvan Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies - Bilingual Education What is something that you are most proud of? I’m most proud of myself for coming this far after not knowing what college life would have in store for me. I’ve been blessed enough to have a job offer before graduation and a couple more afterwards. Eslandy's Words of Wisdom: Enjoy the journey of a student. My time on campus felt like it flew so fast and I wish I could go back and enjoy moments a lot more. Cherish the people around you and don’t forget to prioritize yourself. And most importantly, don’t lose sight of your roots and the people who helped you cross the finish line. It was difficult to accept that so many senior traditions and events weren’t able to take place. But I’m definitely thankful that the health of my family and myself haven’t been put at risk. We’re living in a very scary time, but we can’t lose hope for better days. Future Plans & Goals: I’m planning to become an elementary bilingual teacher starting this fall. My goal is to become a teacher who not only educates, but also provides a support system for each of my students. A new goal of mine is to earn my master’s degree and teach in higher education. 2 7
