WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE DURING THE CHARTER PROCESS DURING A PANDEMIC ?
I believe the hardest part of chartering during the pandemic was feeling so close to everyone but having to stay virtual throughout the process and not enjoy in person . -Marcy
EXPLAIN THE TYPE OF SUPPORT YOU RECEIVED FROM YOUR CHARTER CLASS SISTERS .
Since the begging of the charter process , I have received nothing but unconditional and overwhelming support from my charter class sisters . This support has been given within our KDCHI endeavors as well as those outside of KDCHI . We have each leaned on each other for reassurance , motivation , and prayer . Often times we will let out our feelings about something in the group chat , or we connect on zoom when something important pertaining to our charter class comes up . We each have different relationships and connections with one another which makes the moments for 1-on-1 time that much more meaningful . The sisters in our charter class have went above and beyong to comfort those who have dealt with tragedy during the process . Those moments showed how much we genuinely cared for one another . -Jazzy
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED FOR THIS UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR AS A NEW C HARTER CLASS ?
What I ’ m most excited about for this upcoming semester as new charters is continuing to make our charter class known . We want to continue to spread the purposes and values of KDChi to our campus and inspire other young women to join us when we start recruiting ! I ’ m also very excited to continue this journey with my charter sisters and continue our support for one another as we try to make a difference on campus . -Alexus
