#KDChiCon16 Recap

Dear Sisters,

If you enjoyed the 2016 conference or could not attend this past year’s conference in Austin, then you will want to register early for 2017 in Orlando, Florida! We will be taking over the sunshine state in the Double Tree by Hilton at the entrance to Universal Orlando from July 13 – July 16, 2017. Maggie and I have read through over 100 evaluations to ensure your opinions were taken into account when the planning commenced. We have heard your enthusiasm for more fun, sisterhood interaction, and service engagement; all of which is in our vision to make next year a historical success.

The call for Conference Directors and the Conference Committee have been released! I hope you will apply to make the celebration of our 30th Anniversary the greatest event to date. If you cannot

assist with conference planning, there are a number of ways to help such as sponsoring a sister from your chapter to attend or reaching out to your company explaining all that KDChi is and encourage them to be a sponsor. If you want to help but don’t know what you can do, please reach out to me and the committee as we have a number of ideas!

Last but not least, one of our goals for this year is to not only increase the number of sisters at conference and engage in a service activity but bring in another role model from the Latina community to speak to us. More information will be available soon and registration will be launched by October 1st. I strongly encourage you to start saving now as this is one conference you won’t want to miss. We are excited and are truly looking forward to seeing everyone in Orlando next year!

In sisterly love,

Kayla Worthy
