Global Connection

WGC is beyond excited to introduce new staff member Claudia Guzman Garcia, who really isn’t new here at all. She has been a WGC volunteer since 2012 and now will serve as Associate Director of Community Engagement and Economic Development.

Claudia recently received her PhD in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University. She’s been a WGC Advisory Chair for the Girls Leadership/Girls Global Summit Program and also worked as a WGC grant writer last year.

She’s also worked in development with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas and on grant administration for the UTSA Vice President for Research.

Please help us welcome Claudia!
