Family comes in all shapes and sizes. Some of the best ones are of the four legged type. They love you unconditionally, support you late into the night and are the best cuddle buddies. So of course they have to be part of the celebration too!

This senior has gone above and beyond to show her love and dedication for this campus by her volunteer work and involvement efforts. Tamarea is currently in Kappa Delta Chi sorority, a prestigious volunteer geared organization that can be found on campus. When asked what her most memorable moment was and why, she said “I was able to find a group of people that accepted me for who I am”. Awakening, being an orientation leader, and the L.I.F.E program are some of the other campus organizations she is involved in.

Students at Our Lady of the Lake University have various reasons why they chose this school out of all the rest. “The community brought me to OLLU because everyone so nice and caring. Coming from a big school and everybody doing their own thing it was different because majority of people here know each other and genuinely want to help you succeed” Tamarea says .

Brenda Guerrero who is a Faculty member at OLLU has impacted this students path in a positive way. “She has always been so understanding and helpful when I needed help. She has always been a helping hand”.
