Did you know that Alpha Kappa’s very own Emma Loney is a model for Mac Duggal?! This past weekend our sxster had the opportunity to model for New York Fashion Week! She is Mac Duggal’s Face of Fabulous 2018, National American Miss Madison 2014, Miss Wisconsin USA Ambassador 2015, National American Miss Wisconsin 2016, Miss Wisconsin Earth USA 2017, Miss Wisconsin International 2018, and United States of America’s Miss Wisconsin 2019. I mean... talk about GOALS 👏🏽 Needless to say, she is way Too Hot and Too Cute. I am so proud of you, Emma!

UPWARD BOUND SPOTLIGHT
“Finishing up my Junior year of high school, I joined Upward Bound and participated in the summer program. That first day of move in, everyone was very welcoming and it felt like home already. Before the program I knew I wanted to attend college but didn’t know how I was going to get there. Throughout the summer, my team leader and team was a big support system as they encouraged me in so many ways to pursue college at such a young age. I got help finding scholarships, writing personal statements and getting connected to resources on the campus. It was meaningful to me to have this support system because of how much they cared about me and cared about my dreams and passions to pursue higher education. Without TRIO I don’t know if I would be pursing my education career, and I would be totally lost. Upward Bound will always mean a lot to me as it got me to continue in TRIO SSS as a participant and now as a Student Navigator.
