Latinitas
An organization established in El Paso, Texas by co-founder and KDChi sister, Alicia Rascon. Litinitas is a media and technology outreach program that aims to empower at-risk young
women through participation in summer camps, workshops and special events. A group of these high school ladies participated in a customized, "High School Track" at the 2014 Kappa Delta Chi Leadership Conference, where they interacted with KDChi sisters and discussed their plans for the future.
The Emerald Gala is the
grand event of the
weekend. It is where
the Kappa Delta Chi
National Awards are
presented. Sisters from
across the nation receive recognition for academic excellence, leadership, philanthropy, achievements in business and other contributions.
