The Sun City was even brighter this summer as the
sisters of Kappa
Delta Chi invaded
El Paso, TX. Sisters
traveled from
across the nation
to attend the
2014 National
Leadership Conference. Some sisters traveled from as far as Washington state and New York! For many of our sisters, the journey into El Paso was an adventure in itself.
For the first time
in its history,
conference invited
high school girls
to be part of the
Kappa Delta Chi Sorority conference experience. In partnership with local non-profit, Latinitas, KDChi developed a series of presentations and activities that allowed the high school girls to interact with sisters and discuss important topics such as graduation, setting career and personal goals.
In addition, sisters received Mary Kay Cosmetics goodie bags, made possible by Cosmopolitan for Latinas.
