#FEMALESTRONG

I think G.D Anderson made one of the best statements surrounding the Feminist movement that’s happening in society. He said “Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.” As a female engineering undergrad student, at a school in the most northern part of New York State, the girls and I within the Beta Beta chapter fight these perceptions every day on our own campus. Clarkson University has about a 60:40 predominantly male population.
For more perspective that
equates to about 2,286 male
undergrads to 971 females.
These statistics
immediately put us
behind just
because we
are women.
We walk
into an
