Strange noises indeed. It turns to find the source and catches sight of two
other creatures. How strange they are. The sounds they make are not like
the sounds it makes. They look different too…covered in some material it
could never understand. It wants to answer…to communicate.
“Shit, shit, shut that thing up before the Higher Ups find out we let one of
them in!”
One of them points something at it and suddenly there is more blinding
pain than it has ever felt. It cries for its company. It cries for it to stop. It…
doesn’t want to die…but it doesn’t know why. It doesn’t know why. The
last thing it hears is its kin responding to its calls, as they always have.
