THOSE TWO YELLOW EYES by Kealy Ford It rises from its crouch where it was shrouded with the black mist of night. Yellow eyes gleam, a nefarious fire contrasted with the pale innocence of the moon. It sets its eyes on you. Those wicked gems pierce your soul as it bellows a baleful roar. Hades has set his hound on you. It is quick like the crack of lightning, across a somber sky. It pounces, suddenly. Those two yellow eyes drive nearer, striking fear into your heart. You cower from the beast, from its growls and shiny black coat, but it overtakes you. And you are but gorily twisted metal. Untitled Josh Hall 11th Grade Digital photograph 32 33
