Nurse Renee Kotsopoulus , Director of Health Services , has earned the title of Texas School Nurse Organization ( TSNO ) School Nurse Administrator of the Year . This honor shines a spotlight on a career devoted to student health and safety while recognizing the incredible work of all Garland ISD nurses .
For the first time in history , GISD is proud to announce that two of our high school marching bands , the Lakeview Centennial Patriot Band and the Sachse Mustang Band , earned places at the UIL State Marching Band Competitions in San Antonio ! The Garland ISD Education Foundation ( GEF ) recently wrapped up its annual Employee Giving Campaign , marking another record-breaking year .
