“Tell us about your upcoming concert”

It’s going to be huge. Obviously, performing on the scale of our Festival Place concert last year

is a lot of work, and this time around we’re going to include a lot, but it will be different than that (last year included a choir and a quartet).

All the good bands we like have “album eras” where what they’re doing has a theme, a look, a certain sound, etc. And this will be the last headliner we perform under the “Taste of Madness era”. We’ll be performing most of the songs on the album as well as debuting some new, unheard material from the upcoming full-length album.

See you at the Rec Room South Edmonton on November 16th!

“When building your music and stageshows, who inspires you?”

There’s a ton of artists who inspire me, whether they influence the Infamous or not. For direct

aspirations, I look very heavily to other theatrical acts like Alice Cooper, Rammstein, and Ghost. Metallica will always be my favorite band ever, that’s a given. Then there’s a ton of groups like Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, Nightwish, Three Days Grace, and Arch Enemy who give me thoughts like “I should have a song that they’d enjoy. Then there’s local acts that inspire me, like Order of Chaos, Solborn and Mustakettu, and in 2018 we performed with all three.

I also listen to a ton of orchestra like Hans Zimmer and John Williams, and even some stuff you might not expect, like Lady Gaga and Eminem. I even went on a big Abba stint recently.

Jason Newsted once said “the more you put into your filter, the more colorful what comes out will be”. And I’ve surrounded myself with all sorts of music, good music, to make my output as colorful as I possibly can.

I said it before and I will say it again, Daniel Martin and the Infamous offer one of the best theatrical performances that I have ever seen and you are in luck because they are going to be putting on another production in November!

Every show is something new, every song is a little different, every video is fun and unique! With a consistency in outdoing themselves in one thing after the other, the one thing you are guaranteed to have is an awesome time and never really know what to expect! Which makes going to ALL of their shows a must! You WILL miss something spectacular if you don't.

Speaking of spectacular, I got to have a good chat with Captain Infamous himself! Check it!
