MC College Had Their Annual Fashion Show And It Proved That Fashionable Talent Is In No Shortage In This Town

It officially snowed for the first time of the season on the night of the show but that did not stop anyone from attending! The airport hangar was full of fashionistas, models, designers, the press and lovers of the industry.

The space was put to amazing use and the hangar gave an industrial vibe that really created a very cool atmosphere for the show and the mingling.

Along the outskirts of the hangar, tables were set up to display some information about the designers but also to give them and other vendors a chance to sell some of their product and meet with the guests.

When the show began, I really did not know what to expect. I have been to quite a few fashion shows but nothing put on by MC College. Most of what I have been to have been from established designers and outlets. So my expectations were not set at all.

What came across that catwalk was nothing short of amazing. The talent behind these students completely blew me out of the water.

The lines, the textures, the patterns... It was all very beautiful and professional. I definitely see some careers taking off from these students as they are already showing amazing results and they still have time to grow on that.

I believe the work that these students put out were a great reflection of the teachers that they had at MC College. Teaching art is difficult in that each person has a different view of what that is. These outfits reflected a great outline and structure with the freedom of true creativity. A balance that I would personally find hard to teach.

If you are looking into a career in fashion, or just have a passion for it, I would HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone of interest. This nights event showed the hard work and dedication that is given to the students.
