Mariam: Where can people see your next exhibit?
Doris: This last year I had three solo shows so I have chosen to start 2019 slowly. My next two shows are at the Cava Gallery in Edmonton and the Vasa Gallery in St. Albert. Both will feature different aspects of my landscape theme. I have recently started to work with installations and my goal is to have two different installations to show. I have become intrigued with the different way of portraying the landscape this way. Along with the installations, I will show some of my paintings in which I explore the mixing of different media.
La dernière année, j'ai eu trois expositions solo et j'ai donc choisi de commencer 2019 lentement. Mes deux prochaines expositions sont à la Gallerie Cava à Edmonton et à la Vasa Gallery à St. Albert. Tous deux présenteront différents aspects de mon thème de paysage. J'ai récemment commencé à travailler avec des installations et mon objectif est de présenter deux installations différentes. Je suis devenu intrigué par la manière différente de représenter le paysage de cette façon. Parallèlement aux installations, je montrerai certaines de mes peintures dans lesquelles j'explore le mélange de différents tecniques.
