They want to give this coffee to the community so that the funds that would normally be used to supply it can be relocated to other places like the food budget or more social programs. The money adds up quick, so this initiative has promise of betterment!

"Another thing is that a lot of the time, giving to charity usually consists of something used or the leftovers. We treat them just like our customers, giving our best product because they deserve that too." Drew ended the interview with hints of more initiatives in the future, so let's get this one taken care of so we can see what else they have planned to make Edmonton a better place for us all!

Be a part of the solution! At The Grizzlar, coffee doesn't just sound good, it feels good too.

How this works:

You go to the Grizzlar's online store, (click here)

then you purchase one of the 365, $125 packages. It is that easy!

In return, you get a tax receipt for the whole amount and a choice between an invitation to a special coffee experience for Boyle Street supporters at the coffee roastery and cafe on the north edge of Downtown Edmonton, or a special thank you pack featuring coffee and records from us and the Boyle Street Community.

And finally, the Grizzlar crew will source, roast and deliver at least 3KG/day in your name to the Boyle Street Community Services drop in centre.

Drew wrote all about the process in his latest blog post, which you can read here!
