Daniel Martin and the Infamous, Rutherford Mansion, Solborn and Sebastian Steel Take The Cake for Local Live Performance

Simone Rose

"I had such an amazing time performing with such talented and kind people. I admire them highly and hope to perform with them again."

Every single time I check out Daniel Martin and the Infamous, something new and bigger and better is always in the works.

This band is continually reaching and growing, trying to achieve greatness in performance, sound, character and theatrics.

Their November 18 performance at Festival Place blew me away. This was one of the best live theatrical performances I have ever seen here in Edmonton and I was truly unable to capture any of their magic through photos or even the live videos.

They had Sebastian Steel and Solborn open for them. Starting off with a hypnotist really set things in an interesting direction... you knew you were in for something exciting and different.

Solborn was a fantastic performance. This band pulls off their operatical metal so naturally and did an amazing job covering Nightwish.

The Rutherford Manor cast joined the headliners on stage during their set, adding that extra element of story and intrigue to their already fantastical set which included a choir and small orchestral group.

The lights, the laser lights, the set, the costumes and the performance coming from each of the performing members on stage was incredible. The detail that went in to every single moment of this show is admirable and will be difficult for someone to come along as competition.

This was the last show of the year for them HOWEVER 2019 holds some interesting events for both DMI and Rutherford. Don't worry... we will keep you up to date!
