Premium ingredients from local producers are what makes Melt different. That and their “research and development” team! They are always experimenting in the kitchen and would love to bring some of your creations (or discoveries) to reality. Breakfast is in the works as well as maybe a couple of kinds of subs.

Portions are not stingy. You won’t leave hungry. The featured sandwiches and desserts are the latest and greatest (and to die for!).

Melt is a “local supporting local” business. All of the scratch made menu items use a variety of local producers:

Drift ketchup

Cookie Love baked goods

Fruits of Sherbrooke jam

Ben's Meats

Fresh Forward Produce

Sylvan Star Gouda

Handy Bakery bread

The Good Oven Focaccia

Vitaliteas tea

Grizzly Paw pop

Now my only complaint about this place is the hours… They cater to the corporate community that surrounds them so they close so early that I am rarely able to make it over there. 7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Closed weekends. Here is hoping that they will stay open later one night a week for those of us that don’t work in one of the downtown towers!
