Undergoing the projects conducted by AIESEC in UTP, namely EPIC (Empowering Potential in Individual Career), VOTE (Voice of the Environment) and RED (Reach, Embrace and Devote), the EPs were excited to experience a global learning environment and leadership opportunities that brought a huge impact to the community. The duration of 6 weeks covered an amazing experience for the EPs, as they learned the culture of UTP and Malaysia, conducted case studies related to their respective projects through field trips, conduct learning sessions in schools and orphanages, as well as participate in outdoor activities such as coastal cleanup, park cleanup drive and HIV awareness campaign. This term, we managed to realize the Kids Career Approach program, a long term initiative under the EPIC project, to assist orphans who are lacking behind amidst the vast development of our country. This program aims to expose them to conducive learning and various cultures widely practiced in today’s world, through incoming exchange. It kick-started with a projects mash-up, where all the EPs had tons of fun providing knowledge, guidance, support and love to these amazing kids. AIESEC UTP’s iGCDP is definitely flying high, impacting more than 700 students and 30 orphans through our initiatives. By Ratana Shangkari Project Director of EPIC We look forward to further expand our projects for a top-notch EP exp erience! :) For more info, visit our page : http://utpaiesec.wix.com/malaysia
