LOCAL LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR
2013
Friday 18th, October 2013 marks the
kick start of one of the most famous local seminars in
Malaysia which is LLDS (Local leadership
development seminar). It is the first time in the
history of our LC (local committee) to have amazing
international facilitators for LLDS which helped this
event to have a big impact in every participant`s life.
The seminar was held for 3 days from 18th of
October to 21st of October in Golden Bay Resort
with more than 80 participants which is considered
the highest number of attendants in the history of the
LC.
This seminar wouldn’t have been a success
without the inspiration we got from our own
Executive Board lead by our own president of
AIESEC UTP AVINASH KUMAR and his team
(HYDRA) with their continuous motivation that
drove the new members of AIESEC UTP to try a
seminar that they found a life changing experience.
Despite the extreme amount of fun all the
participants had in the event, it wasn’t just about
having fun. There, the participants got to know each
other very well and identify how AIESEC UTP functions besides how to be prepared to face any future
problems and learn to solve it as a team.
For the first time in their history students from
UTAR have joined LLDS giving the birth to a new
AIESEC chapter in a new university and announcing
the arising of new heroes to lead the new born SU
UTAR with the help of AIESEC UTP.
LLDS was also a chance to welcome the new
members of AIESEC UTP after being recruited in the
beginning of the new semester and starting their long
fruitful journey of leadership and personal
development.
