Spirit Week in Our Very Own Monti
In a week characterized by stress and exams, the Student Council attempted to bring back color and cheer by organizing the school’s very first Spirit Week. It is an event that usually takes place in several schools, but never has in Montessori, and the student council desired to create a little bit of comic relief for students by merging a list of fun activities all into one midterm-filled week.
Day One
It started off with Twins’ Day when any two could wear identical shirts or hats, with the school pants remaining untouched. Our students did not disappoint with their Mexican hats and fluttering robes. During break time, they were able to show off their fashionable creativity in a somewhat festive environment that everyone enjoyed.
