Mr Michael
Ghadeer Shnawa
interviewing:
The World is packed with people, but you choose to interview those you find interesting. Sometimes, your questions are for the sake of testing and experimenting, while other times, your research is simply for the sake of knowing. That is the case here. A decision was made to interview a person who we see on a daily basis but know nothing about. He is a person who is fascinated with the universe, who reads into the world, who finds wisdom in the words: "the world has a tendency to unfold in ways that fall in your favor", whose personality possesses an air of humor, and who, in his free time, would "do what [his] generation used to do which is play play-station."
That person happens to be our history teacher, who describes history as: "knowledge, understanding… and so much more."
That person is Mr. Michael O.
Q1: As I understand, being a teacher is not the easiest profession. Why did you decide to become one?
Well, I don’t know if that’s completely true. It’s not an easy job when it comes to having to put grades and stuff like that, but I find it to be a joy. I enjoy teaching because it’s quite rewarding when you see students benefit from what you’ve just said, and I find it even more beneficial when students argue with what you’ve said, because that means they’re thinking.
