CAMBRIDGE – New York American Water is preparing to construct
a new 157,000-gallon water storage
tank in Cambridge. The $935,000
project represents a critical investment in support of the water company’s commitment to provide customers with safe, reliable water service.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Besides the 157,000-gallon tank,
work will also include installing
2,400 feet of 12-inch pipeline to
connect the new tank to the community’s water system. Once placed
into service, the 42-foot high tank
will improve water service reliability and fire protection for customers
in Cambridge.
