Immaculate Conception Parish provided ingredients for a meal and St. Mary’s Academy students prepared, served and enjoyed the meal while spending time with the shelter guests. Efforts to lift the spirits of those less fortunate, included designing and decorating a bulletin board which left positive and supportive messages. St. Mary’s students also conducted a donation drive that provided storage bins filled with items such as warm socks, slippers, and liquid laundry detergent. All items which are currently topping the emergency shelter’s wish list.
