SALEM - The committee of the Salem Area Woman’s Club responsible for planning the 22nd Annual Women’s
Health Day recently met at the MacKenzie Chapel of the First United Presbyterian Church in Salem. This year’s
event will be held on Saturday, April 30th with the theme “By Women For Women”. It is co-sponsored by the
Woman’s Club and Glens Falls Hospital, with the support of multiple local sponsors and contributors. Women’s
Health Day is held at Salem Central School with assistance from administration and custodial staff. Included will be
a continental breakfast, luncheon and door prizes, kindly donated by local businesses. This year’s keynote speaker is
confirmed and six workshops will be offered. The next committee meeting will be held after the regular Salem Area
Woman’s Club meeting on March 9th.
Committee members are Vivian Ackerman, Rosalind Bates, Diane DeConno, Anna Dickson, Patricia Gilchrist,
Adriana Gruber, Audrey Hall-Seelye, Jane Hayden, Alexis Hinger, Tine Hughes, Jane Keys, Lise Molloy, Marianne
O’Brien, Pat Phillips, Linda Randles, Kathy Rapp, Kathie Roby, Julia Sweeney, Mary Talmadge and Kay Tomasi.
