realized once again the cruelty of his thoughts
after that unexpected meeting.

Alan was knocked out of his thoughts. He looked
at the door where his math professor was
standing with crossed arms, tapping his foot on
the ground.
Prof. Quir.: What's the matter with you? You
didn't show up to my classroom this morning.

Alan: No. I'm fine.
Prof. Quir.: If by fine you mean that you
have a tomato-face and your clothes are
soaked in sweat, then obviously you're out of
