Alan quickly hugged him and shut the door behind him so that Christopher couldn't see his tears soaking through his uniform. According to the big old wooden clock which was hanging from the wall there was still an hour or so for the train to leave which was taking him to his new school. For him forgetting a single clue about this school would be a nightmare. He looked right up the big chandelier and wished he could pause the big old wooden clock so that he could stay there forever. However the clock didn't do so. Instead it repeated: tik tok tik tok ... Alan left the room with one thing in his head: tik tok .... What an amazing sound! It was time to go!
