Mark Hudson is a local artist, poet and writer in Evanston, Illinois, who spends most of his time reading, writing, and publishing his work .He has won awards in many poetry contests, and has been published many times by Greywolf press, Rockford Review. His poetry can be read online here.
Elizabeth Jaeger is currently finishing up an MFA degree in creative writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is an assistant editor at The Literary Review and her work has been published in the Literary Explorer, Atticus Review, and Linden Avenue Literary Journal. She first dreamed of being a writer when as a child she read the Little House on the Prairie Books. Like Laura Ingalls, she wanted to write about her life. Before turning her attention to motherhood and writing she traveled the world and fell in love with Nepal and Patagonia. Tim Kahl is the author of The String of Islands (Dink, 2015). He has been published in Prairie Schooner, Drunken Boat, Mad Hatters' Review, Indiana Review,, Ninth Letter, Notre Dame Review, The Journal, and many other journals in the U.S. Tim appears as Victor Schnickelfritz at the poetry and poetics blog The Great American Pinup and the poetry video blog Linebreak Studios. He works as an editor for Bald Trickster Press and Clade Song, and is also the vice president and events coordinator of The Sacramento Poetry Center. He has a public installation in Sacramento {In Scarcity We Bare The Teeth} and currently teaches at California State University, Sacramento and houses his father's literary estate-- one volume: Robert Gerstmann's book of photos of Chile, 1932.
Carol Lynne Knight is the co-director of Anhinga Press, where she edits and designs books. Her book of poems, Quantum Entanglement (Apalachee Press) was released in 2010. Her poetry has appeared in Louisiana Literature, Tar River Review, Earth’s Daughters, The Ledge, Slipstream, Broome Review, Comstock Review, and Redactions. Born in Traverse City, Michigan, she grew up in South Florida and graduated from the University of Miami and Florida State University. She has exhibited her drawings, pottery, sculpture and digital images throughout the eastern United States. In other lives, she has worked as an art teacher, potter, videographer, copy writer, and graphic designer. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
Leonard Kogan’s current works are painterly animated structures bodies and organisms. In remerging compositions, his works are synthesis of ubiquitous, trivial, marginal, shattered and displaced. The paintings are imbued with the conscious and subconscious, the associative flashbacks and the historical and social references. Coloristic spectrum of his works moves from post-impressionistic melodramatic palette to lurid psychedelic hues. Leonard Kogan lives and works in Baltimore, MD. Leonard’s works has been featured in a number of literary and art magazines.
