The Dos and Don'ts of Dental Care The Dos and Don’ts of Dental Care | Page 2
INTRODUCTION
There is a significant relation between nutrition and dental health
as without good teeth you cannot eat food properly.
Teeth hold onto bacteria, but the bacteria can only cause decay if
there is too much accumulation due to poor maintenance of
personal dental hygiene.
Poor oral hygiene can lead to cavities, gum disease and tooth
loss. It has also been linked to stroke, diabetes, heart disease
and cancer.
By eating a healthy diet, maintaining good oral hygiene and
visiting your dentist regularly, you can easily prevent many oral
health problems.
