ADVERTISE IN THE DOCKET

Please note that all proposed orders submitted to judges and magistrates in Sarasota County require a cover letter in PDF / A format . If there is no cover letter the proposed order will automatically be rejected .
Unrepresented litigants are encouraged , but not required , to electronically submit proposed orders through the Portal . To receive electronic orders , unrepresented litigants are required to provide an email address pursuant to court Rule 2.516 , Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration . This requirement does not apply to proposed orders provided to a judge during a court proceeding .
The new AO directs Court Clerks to reject and return all unsigned orders received via E-Filing that were not properly submitted as “ proposed documents ” through the Portal .
Please review AO2022-1.2 which lists all the requirements and exceptions for submitting proposed orders through the Portal .
