This course will explore the concepts of compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma, particularly as they relate to the family law community. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of trauma— including Big T, Little T, and complex trauma— and learn how repeated exposure to others ' suffering can lead to emotional and psychological strain. Topics include risk factors, symptoms, and the impact on personal and professional life. Participants will also learn practical strategies for healing and building resilience to maintain well-being in demanding work environments.
