Authentic Coaches Matter: WALK THE TALK, Don’ t Just Sell the Dream

In a world overflowing with influencers, coaches, and selfproclaimed experts, it’ s easy to find someone selling the dream. They promise success, confidence, and a transformed life. But how many truly live what they preach? Authentic coaches do not just sell the dream; they walk the journey alongside those they serve.
As a Transformational Life Coach, my commitment is to walk in alignment with the principles I teach. That means leaning on God, practicing gratitude, setting goals, and pushing past limiting beliefs— not just for my clients but in my own life. It also means acknowledging when things don’ t go as planned, regrouping in prayer, and moving forward with faith and perseverance.
Leaning on God First
Before setting any goal or making a major decision, I seek God’ s guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us,“ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” It’ s easy to fall into the trap of relying solely on strategies, business plans, or personal ambition. But experience has taught me that when I move ahead without God, even the best-laid plans can falter.
There have been moments in my coaching journey where I felt uncertain, wondering if I was truly making an impact. Instead of dwelling on doubt, I take it to God in prayer, asking for wisdom and clarity. Each time, He either reaffirms my path or gently redirects me toward something greater than I originally envisioned. You can discover more about my faith based coaching by visiting my website www. Gratitude in Every Season
Gratitude is one of the most powerful tools in our faith walk. It shifts our focus from what is missing to what’ s already given. Even when things do not go as planned, I remind myself to give thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 encourages us,“ Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’ s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
I start my mornings by thanking God for what He’ s already done. Whether it’ s a client’ s breakthrough, an unexpected blessing, or simply the strength to keep going, acknowledging His goodness keeps me grounded. Gratitude fuels my faith, reminding me that if God has been faithful before, He will be faithful again.
Overcoming Limiting Beliefs with Faith

As a coach, I help women break free from limiting beliefs, and I must do the same for myself. Fear, doubt, and past failures can whisper lies that keep us stuck. But God’ s Word is the ultimate truth, and it says we are more than conquerors( Romans 8:37). When I find myself questioning my abilities, I speak life over my journey. I remind myself of God’ s promises, reject thoughts that don’ t align with His truth, and take bold steps forward. Trusting that even when I can’ t see the full picture, God is working behind the scenes for my good.
Regroup, Pray, and Move Forward
Not every goal is achieved on the first attempt. There have been times when I’ ve worked hard toward something, only to fall short. But failure isn’ t final when faith is in the equation. When things don’ t go as planned, I regroup, pray, and start again.
God doesn’ t call us to perfection. He calls us to perseverance. Each setback is an opportunity to refine our approach and grow in trust.
Triumph Through Faith
Walking the talk is worth it. Authentic coaches matter because people don’ t just need inspiration; they need transformation that is rooted in truth. By leaning on Him, giving thanks, setting goals, breaking limiting beliefs, and persevering, we live the abundant life God calls us to.
So today, I challenge you: Are you walking the talk in your own life? Are you seeking God first, speaking truth, and moving forward in faith? It’ s never too late to start. When we build our lives on the solid foundation of God’ s wisdom, we don’ t just chase dreams— we fulfill divine purpose. IContact me at www. Setting Goals with God at the Center
Success requires intentionality. I set goals that align with my purpose and dreams, leaving room for divine redirection. Some goals come to fruition exactly as planned; others shift as God reveals a better way. Instead of forcing my own path, I step back, pray, and listen. God often opens doors I hadn’ t considered.
