False Flagging!! Nothing better to do!!
I struggled with a topic to write about on the Editor's Page for a long time and just recently a subject came to me. False Flagging. This is where someone decides to flag a person's avatar picture i.e. their D.P., a persons avatar card, a product in their catalog, a nasty message that was sent to them because they started a war with that person and just want to be an ass hole, or just because they are completely bored and have nothing better to do then troll. Well, just resently my partner's avatar picture was flagged. For whatever reason it was unknown, however the picture was completely GA and nothing was out of the way about it, but her avi pic was removed and she was most likely warned for it and she had to replace it. But there are people who get flagged who are not so luckly and they get flagged and warned, but the warning comes with a price. They get locked out of their account and banned from IMVU for quite sometime.
Lately I have had to struggle with the fact that I accidently flagged my IMVU husband because I was on my cell phone and the flag button to me is just in a bad place all together. I hit that button on a regular basis. I beleive that the flag button should not be placed on our friends messages at all. Then all the accidental flagging would stop. However, back to the topic, false flagging has become a serious epidemic on IMVU that needs to be remedied. How? I do not know, but childishness is part of it and my answer is GROW THE F*CK UP!! The majority of us are way too old to deal with it and certainly do not feel like dealing with it. Our daily lives constist of drama and come on IMVU to get away from the drama and not have to deal with you drama queens and attention whores. So that is my take on it and you can like it, love it, hate it, f*ck it!!
