The Discerner Christopher Engel Christopher Engel is an American artist. His work has been exhibited in the USA and abroad, and is part of numerous private collections. Engel’s work is characterized by powerful brush strokes and vibrant colors, weaving many layers of meaning into a single image. Both abstract and figurative, a positive energy vibrates throughout the work. Engel states: “My work attempts to capture archetypal images, drawing the viewer into a communication with the ancient, metaphysical and transcendent. These images have appeared throughout history – in the first marks of our ancestors, on cave walls, on trees, in the sand – messages that though we are only passing through this life momentarily, we each are a part of something that never ends.” “Talisman 4” - POA Acrylic, pastel, graphite, and collage on paper 26” x 40” “Summer Carnival” - POA Acrylic, pastel, graphite, and collage on paper 30” x 40” E: [email protected] 4 “Talisman 14” - POA Acrylic, pastel, graphite, and collage on paper 26” x 40” “Last Call” - POA Acrylic, pastel, graphite, and collage on paper 30” x 40” W: christopherengelart.com W: kramorisgallery.com/christopher-engel/ For all enquiries, please contact Chris or Celine at [email protected] or 020 7491 9925 www.thediscer ne r . c om
