Sailing around the Greek islands provides the main source of inspiration for Emberson ’ s work .
Combining her fascination with the country ’ s ancient past and a love of the natural world , the paintings essentially depict land masses as seen from above or below , which are interwoven with mythological themes .
Using a mixture of fluid paints , plays a vital part in creating the unpredictable flow of nature in a unique and colourful way .
