The Discerner Zbigniew Blajerski
Zbigniew studied in the faculty of sculpture at the Academy of fine Arts in Kraków , Poland . It was here that he started to understand the characteristics of metal , wood and clay which he now uses when handcrafting these bespoke “ Torso Sculptures ”.
They are formed from the inside , and then built up with individual strands of clay , which is then heated at 1080c and finished off with a coloured glaze to eventually form the elegant male or female openwork design . The male sculpture is 54cm in height with the female measuring 48cm and are available in a selection of colours , including split colours , or a colour of your choice .
