The Discerner Scott McLachan Scott, born in Scotland and now living in The Netherlands, was first inspired to create fantasy artwork by the likes of Chris Foss, Roger Dean and Frank Frazetta…his childhood painter heroes! Airbrush based sci-fi work was his early passion but this developed into a more general fantasy theme using acrylics and large canvases. More recently he has turned to the challenge of oils. His work always tries to capture a snapshot within the context of an event…the outcome known only to the observer.
