In the

There are now many possibilities and reasons for using
video as an effective means of communication.
Whether your company needs a promotional
production for use at exhibitions or on your website,
a training DVD or even a broadcast TV commercial,
The Digital Works will be able to advise and guide you
through the possibilities.
We work every step of the way with our clients. Once
a brief has been received and a budget has been
decided, we produce an ‘outline script’ to give an
overview of the production, it’s aims, and style.
Upon approval of this synopsis, we move
on to a more detailed script, followed by
a ‘storyboard’ - basically, a comic strip
version of the script which will convey the shots and
scenes. At these stages, details of voiceovers, music
and graphics are added, along with locations required.
Following this begins the exciting process of shooting the
production. Depending on the complexity of the
project, this can take less than one day to several
months.
With everything ‘in the can’ the post-production phase
begins. It is here where the footage is assembled
into a rough production, along with temporary
music and voiceover. We work closely with our
clients during the process to gradually create the
finished article, making changes here and there,
refining the process and adding the completed music,
voiceover and graphics where necessary.
Finally - we deliver the production to you in whatever
medium you require.
Simple as that!
