How do I make an outside call?

Dial “8” and then the number you wish to call

Why can’t I reach someone when I dial their 4-digit extension?

4 digit extensions that begin with “1” only work within the building.

4 digit extensions that begin with “3”, “4”, or “7” will work for buildings that are converted

Tip – try dialing it as an outside line

“8, 816-xxxx”

How do I change the phone ringer volume?

Use the left arrow key to go to menu display

Press Settings button (white soft key)

Press Set button (white soft key)

Press Ringing button (white soft key)

Press Level button (white soft key)

Press + or – keys to change volume (by the mute button)

Press OK button to submit change.

How do I change the phone ring tone?

Press Settings button (white soft key)

Press Set button (white soft key)

Press Ringing button (white soft key)

Press Internal or External ring (white soft key) they may have different tones

Press Sound button to select an option

How do I pick up another phone that is ringing?
