800 students across the City of Buffalo have been given the opportunity to learn this year using iPads from a 3 year, $450,000 Learning Technology Grant awarded from the New York State Department of Education.
4th, 5th and 6th graders across 13 Buffalo Public Schools are participating in this technology integration program called, "Write Clicks".
Write Clicks was developed through a collaborative effort between District Instructional Technology staff and BPS Director of Curriculum, Anne Botticelli.
The focus of Write Clicks is to create opportunities for students to engage with informational text in a digital format and to develop students' research skills in an effort to prepare them to meet the new Common Core Learning Standards.
