Technology has changed the lives of people around the globe. A lot of things have become much easier. Things can be done faster and faster. But is all technology good? For instance, technology can give you cancer, but it can also cure your cancer. So it’s not about whether technology is good or bad, it’s about what we decide to do with technology that matters.

As seen onprevious pages, there are wonderful technologies that can help human life for the better. And there are so many more examples of how technology has helped make the world more human.
We don’t know exactly what the future will bring, what lies ahead of us. Some are even scared of what the future will bring because of the quickly growing technology change. A lot of (elder) people can’t even keep up with everything. Probably, not too long from now, some technologies will be developed, which can make humans less humans. Looking at this and all the other technologies being developed it is important to keep something in mind:
Today, technology has made it possible to do things that were literally impossible just a few years ago. Technology is, and will even more, change exponentially. Much faster than social, business and political change.
If we want a more human world, rather than a less human world, and use technology to do more good than bad, then we have to take action to make it that
way.
