Leaving her home and the confines of the studio behind to hit the road in search of something that would fulfill her desire to create fine art , she carved a niche for herself in the stark contrasts of Infrared Photography .
“ I own a Sony A7a converted to 2-Spectrum IR and employ a variety of red filters along with several ND filters to capture my work , but the technical stuff isn ’ t what really interests me ,” she says . “ Being creative affords me hours of quiet contemplation , allows me to absorb the beauty around me even when there seems to be very little of it . This process feeds my soul .”
